WHY
KAI?
KAI measures style of problem solving and creativity. KAI is used:
- in the training of managers and key teams as part of the management
of change.

in group training and individual development as part of the management
of diversity,

for the enhancement of group cohesion and effectiveness,
-
for leadership techniques, and
- for problem-solving team building.
WHO
WILL BENEFIT?
KAI Practitioners are typically HR managers, company directors, business
consultants & trainers. KAI is also widely used by academics in the
fields of business, psychology, sociology and education. KAI can only
be used by Certificated Practitioners.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Adaption-Innovation Theory and
its associated psychometric inventory (KAI) provide insight into how
people solve problems and interact with other problem solvers in teams
and across teams. This course covers:
- A cognitive framework for understanding the different ways in which
diverse teams approach problems.
- Methods for improving team effectiveness through the creation and
effective management of diverse teams.
- The implications of A- Theory and the use of theory and the inventory
for team building, personal development, team collaboration, conflict
resolution, and leadership.
TIME
REQUIRED : 36 hours.
No CEU's or grades are issued.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Successful completion of the
course and end-of-course exam will result in certification to use KAI.
Re-certification through an advanced workshop is required with 4 years
to maintain certification. Upon application to the course, there will
be a phone briefing of 40-45 minutes to assist in your reading preparation
for the course. A textbook is required.
FEE AND PAYMENT: Course fee is $3,000. Full payment
of fees must be received at least 4 weeks before the course start date.
Full payment is required in order to reserve your place in the course.
Please by advised that if the minimum number of participants is not
attained 4 weeks prior to the course start date, it may be cancelled.
